<news:title>WeedsA plant out of place, any plant becomes a weed if it grows where it isn't wanted. Weeds spread aggressively by seed or persistent root systems and many tolerate a wide range of environmental conditions. Some weeds are merely nuisance plants and some are invasive and require control and removal.Weeds compete with our beautiful flowers, grass, and shrubs. Stealing moisture, nutrients, and sunlight.I looked over at my garden this year and realized the late warmth has given way for an abundance f unwanted weeds. I ut my gloves on and began the task of pulling weed after weed. Trying to not damage the soil around my flowers.I wondered why the bunnies who love to eat my flowers couldn't help out here? Maybe they should be doing some of this work.[lol]I suppose it's like our lives. If we don't get in there and clean out the weeds soon our beauty will be covered by evil. Stealing the things we need to survive. The sunlight, the source of our peace, mercy, and self-control we so desperately need. The weeds of this world come from social media, movies, books, and even people. These things can take away our joy. We can be influenced and start to question our worthiness. Mixed emotions and ideas lay back in our minds and creep in when we least expect. We begin to compare or envy the unrealistic words the world is giving us. The seed is planted and doubt in what is truth becomes blurry. We have to get down on our knees and weed out what will stunt our growth. Will block us from the great plans God has for us. What He intended for us to bloom into and where. We want to take what the enemy wants us to hear out so we make room for Gods purpose. In Matthew 13:24-43 Jesus tells the Parable of the Weeds. "A farmer sows good seed, but the enemy sneaks in to plant weeds." The farmer told the servant to leave the weeds amoung the wheat. That good and evil will coexist in this world but will be separated in the end. Then in Proverbs 24 King Solomon what conforming to the weeds of this world will bring to our lives. In verses 33 and 34 Solomon says; "I learned this lesson: a little extra sleep, a little more slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest- then poverty will pounce on you like a bandit; scarcity will attack you like an armed robber."We can't keep up on all the weeds in this world; that is God's job. If we tend to our garden of life beauty will display in abundance for others to witness and desire.Lord may we be the farmer who shows others the way you want us to weed our lives so that we honor you. Amen</news:title>
